CTIA Uganda Positions Itself as Digital Innovation Hub in Iganga

CTIA Uganda, is steadily gaining recognition as a center for digital skills training and software development in eastern Uganda.

Situated at Hamdan Building next to FINCA Bank in Iganga Town, the company is combining technology services with practical training programs aimed at equipping youth and small businesses with relevant digital skills.

According to company officials, CTIA Uganda is responding to the increasing demand for ICT knowledge and digital solutions in the region. The firm offers training in computer applications, programming, and other digital competencies, while also delivering software services such as website development and business systems.

The initiative comes at a time when Uganda is pushing for greater digital inclusion, particularly in districts outside major urban centers. Industry observers note that institutions like CTIA Uganda could play a key role in bridging the technology gap by decentralizing access to ICT education.

Local residents and trainees have welcomed the development, citing improved access to affordable training and professional tech services within the district.

CTIA Uganda says it plans to expand its reach and partnerships to serve more communities, positioning itself as a catalyst for innovation and employment in the region.

As digital transformation continues to reshape Uganda’s economy, initiatives at the grassroots level are increasingly seen as critical to ensuring that no region is left behind.
